Create an example of a Multi-Genre Research Project that you have created on something in your curriculum or just something you are interested in!
This would be a great opportunity for grade level teachers to get together and decide upon a set of genres you want to have your students do and then each create a certain number of examples.
Let your students know what you expect of them by not just telling them, but showing them your examples.
Make sure you have created a rubric and let the students know what they will be graded on and how they can achieve high scores on the rubric.
Have a list of topics you want your students to study. It can include anything from your curriculum that you would like your students to do research on.
